A Tinker Bell Christmas

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Christmas Eve was spent with Ron’s family, we did draw name gifts, dirty Santa and believe it or not Santa stopped by for a short visit to hand out gifts to Tanner, Devin and Mackenzie. Mackenzie looking up at Santa.

Christmas morning we woke up to candy and presents in our stockings. Mackenzie finally got to open up her presents that had been taunting her for weeks under the tree. To her surprise there were LOTS of Tinker Bell toys. She was so excited. To my surprise, I received two lumps of coal in my stocking (apparently Santa thought I had been bad. LOL), but under the tree was a new camera, and beautiful sapphire necklace from my wonderful husband and daughter. Ron opened up a new gun case (since he recently ran over the one he got last year, this one is crush proof), several DVDs, new lens for his telescope and a new PS3 game. That afternoon we went to Trudy’s to open gifts (more Tinker Bell) and that evening my aunt and uncle came over with more Tinker Bell stuff for Kenzie.

Friday night (Dec. 26) we opened presents (more Tinker Bell for Kenz) with David and Joell and the boys, unfortunately I had to work, but when I left Ron and David were playing with the Nerf gun we bought Tanner. Ryan and Aaron were playing Pictionary Man. Tanner and Mackenzie was grabbing the foam bullets to give to David and Ron. Joell was taking photos and laughing at our husbands.

Saturday, I photographed a wedding, so no Christmas related events.

Sunday, we exchanged gifts with my sister and her family and yes there was even more Tinker Bell. Michael was so cute opening his presents. I can’t believe how big he is getting; he is already 7 months old. Doug’s reaction to his autographed Chicago Bears footballs was priceless. Later that day, we were supposed to have met up my best friend Sam and his girlfriend Kat for dinner but his mom had other plans.

So the Davis house has been taken over by Tinker Bell and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
